Nick Payne

Four-year college starting catcher and was a professional baseball player. In 2024, I was named Player of the Year, 1st Team All-Conference, 1st Team All-Region, and Rawlings All-America 2nd Team. In 2025, I recorded a 57% caught-stealing rate and signed with the USPBL, giving me experience playing professional baseball.

Through my playing career, I have developed a strong understanding of the game, particularly behind the plate, including catching, throwing, defensive positioning, leadership, and game preparation. I love coaching because I enjoy sharing the knowledge and experience I have gained throughout my career and helping young players improve, gain confidence, and develop a love for the game.
